On April 9, 2025, UMR submitted a testimony to Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies (“Labor-HHS”) Chair, Rep. Robert Aderholt, and Ranking Member, Rep. Rosa DeLauro, urging for a base budget of at least $51.3 billion for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations.
