“United for Medical Research would like to thank Senators Baldwin, Capito, Murray and Collins for their continued leadership toward funding the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Despite considerable constraints posed by the FY 2024 budget deal, these Senators have shown again today that investing in biomedical research remains a national priority. UMR looks forward to working with Senate and House Appropriations Committee leaders in the months ahead to ensure that NIH’s mission of saving and improving lives is not only preserved but enhanced.”
